A couple badly wounded after being hit by a truck people converged on the scene like swam of bees but none of them was decent enough to lend a helping hand to a woman struggling between
life and death but instead they chose to stand as mute spectators pretending to shut their ears
to the cries of a helpless woman.yes my friends this is the ugly sight of India ,yet another incident
which bears a testimony to the fact that in our quest for money, power and fame we have virtually turned into stone hearted beasts.no doubt we have entered into the highest echelons of management and engineering and have achieved glories beyond imagination but all this has deprived us of the noble virtues which used to be the elusive gems of our Indian culture.we have become callous and brutal enough to leave someone dying on road without even a
shred of embarrassment and guilt.does our conscience not haunt us?.there is an urgent need for introspection . it is only when self realization dawns upon us we can expect a new dawn
.An India which Nehru and Gandhi once dreamt of.An India where it doesn't matter how many bugs your wallet has does matter how many bugs have been donated for a noble cause

The Vagaries of Life

life is a wonderful treasure
full of jewels and full of pleasure
a journey full ofjoy and misery
comes with all ts fun and thrill
bringing smile and driving darkness
spreads its magic like a socererr
some fret and fume as they fall upon the thorns of life
while some seek pleasure in every moment of this life
let us all work together
braving all odds and striving hard
fighting all mess
to have a pleasent taste of success

True Essence of Diwali

with the onset of winter
when green leaves are covered with morning dew
admist all this wind and chill
comes the festival of light
with all its fun and frolic
spreading fervour and gaeity all around
and driving away darkness
illuminates the life of thousand and spreads happiness
clothes,sweets,gifts are widespread
everyone trying to make thier diwali the best
crackers decorating the sky
to drive away sheer darkness
for the rich and better off
it is a festival of gifts and crackers
while the poor and downtrodden
satisfy their vanity by lighting a small diya
this diwali make a pledge
to illuminate the lives of those
who are dejected
let us realize the real purpose of diwali
its not money,gifts
but only charity
lending a helping hand can do wonders
and bring peace and happiness
and serenity which cant be brought by any other
