HEIGHT OF HYPOCRISY

A bright Sunday morning, the rays of sun greeting us with warmth and happiness. The flowers and trees appeared to be swinging with joy as if celebrating the dawn of this beautiful morning. Everything seemed so vibrant and positive. Then suddenly i saw a girl hardly eleven or twelve years old with unkempt hair, head bowed down with misfortune and poverty. On further inquiry i found that our neighbour had kept her as a maid and ironically her own daughter runs an NGO to educate children. This reminds me of utter hypocrisy prevalent in our society. We never deter to blow our trumpet about how generous we are in donating our unused things to poor, how we are actively involve and spend our precious time in working with NGOs for a noble cause. But deep inside our hearts we know we utterly crave for that fake respect and credit which will quench our thirst for that unwanted fame and recognition. We humans are basically sensation seekers and want to crave a niche for ourselves in the society by any means. We support a cause not because we are passionate about it but we long for the edge it will give us as compared to to others in the society. Until and unless we break the chain of hypocrisy that enslaves us,we would never get the invaluable peace of mind and happiness which are precious gems that make life worth living.
